Reja Asian Man Collectible Silver Brooch, 1940s
This rare collectible brooch is made of gilded silver and decorated with enamel, a red cabochon, and transparent crystals. The brooch depicts an Asian (Chinese) man wearing a traditional headdress. The American costume jewelry company Reja existed for only 14 years – from 1939 to 1953, the first two years under the name of Deja. During this time, magnificent costume jewelry of the highest level was produced, which to this day amazes collectors and connoisseurs of all things beautiful. Silver figurines of animals and birds are especially good, as well as the Asian, African, and Balinese series and the Gardenesque bouquets. Absolutely all Reja jewelry is highly collectible and rare.
